Lobha,Moha,Dosa:
Greed, Delusion, Hatred,
The triroot of Dukkha
Out of compassion for us
did the Awakened One declare
Abandon them,says He.
But no,
MAN,most if not all
With EGO as his base
To these warning not heed
A mass of mess
Surely to come
Heaped upon heaps
Burdened
Stressed
Thus the outcome
What's this EGO we stubbornly preserve?
Preserving yet not fully understanding,
What's that thing called OURS?
the land we'd die for?
the wealth we'd amass all our life?
the pride of our status?
In truth,
Death of the mortal frame
Parts us with what we count DEAR!
hence,what's OURS?
Are these worth the vengence then?
Or the desire for more?
With hands that control not,
Nor a 'morrow's day that's uncertain
What else can be CLAIMED?
Coming bare,without even a single thread
Death comes doing all amassed apart - REALITY!
Seeing these with wisdom
Did the WISE untangle
from the triroot of suffering
To Nibbana's Bliss attain
