Getting to Understand the Trade-off

Yes, I am. I measure my happiness in terms of how many things I have achieved and how many things I have learnt from things that I dedicated my time, energy and soul into it. However, in certain points of my life, I tend to be weak and broke down in the middle of the journey. That's how I wasted my time in detour... Regretful.

Sometime, I thought to myself, why am I doing things that are not enjoyable. And I have neglected some good people around me, that made me feel bad at times. I wish I could be like other people, staying up NOT FOR WORKs, but for FUN, or for gatherings. Fun is not a sin. My sense of humour has become dusty, becoming more forgetful, and on top of that, in summary, I am becoming a very STANDARD DULL boy, Shit T.T

Fortunately, I have the book with me, a book that I have been spending time reading it whenever I am at my lowest ebb of life. It's another good writing of John C.Maxwell. And I wish to buy more of his books this holiday =)

John C.Maxwell has put life this way, "You need to give up in order to grow up".

I guess, this point is already self-explanatory enough to show the trade-off that we have to make as we grow.

You can't have everything, prioritize things that you really want in life, and only dedicate time to manage the main theme at heart.

Very soon, I will make everything happen in the way I want it be.

Shall share my successful stories in the following post.

And I knew I will succeed, that's my promise to myself.

  1. hmmm.
Maybe change a little mindset from doing work to enjoying your work will help you a little?
Everyone will have their down time.
Maybe you can just switch off all your gadget and head out for your fun activity. =)
Let's jog together one day! I'm fat now >.<

  2. You are not becoming DULL BOY because you are on your way to become better, mature and successful man. If i am not mistaken, John Maxwell also said" Learn to say 'no' to the good so that you can say 'yes' to the best. Fun is not a sin, but i think sacrifices are always have to be made. Then, when you share your successful stories here, it's your time for the greatest FUN. Good luck ya =)
