UM Cares Competition Result

We were at high spirit upon being invited by Secretariat of UM Cares to attend the closing ceremony. The results will be announced during the event. Our college principal (Master) Dr. Woo Chao Seng ( I think I spelled wrongly ops  :P ) also did turn up in the event. We were very happy and quite sure we were going to be in top three. =)

We fully used our 1 month( not really hitting a month, it's less than that) time to come up with green initiatives and eventually put them in action, the response was fairly good and we were satisfied by our attainment, I would say. Our presentation was also a success. Edward Tay partner, great job XD!!!!!

The result was about to announce. And I told our group leader, Ira, to get ready when they are announcing the 3rd placing onward. At this point, u can see how CONfident I was. (OR VAINNNNNNNNNNNNNNN or lansi lo if u like !!!!!!!!!!!)

To my disappointment, we didn't get into top 3, we just got 4th place and was awarded merely RM500.00. SOBXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. T.T It reli reli STRUCK me.

End of story.

I learnt something in that competition: 1. U need to invest more money in order to get a large sum of money in return.
2. The early bird catches the wormSSSS
3. Hardworking alone is insufficient! You MUST BE SEEN DOING WORKSSSSSSS by others(the panels, UM etc). Hmmmm... I guess it's time to learn some tricks from Malaysian typical POLITICIANS, coz according to ppl, they are good at making their PRESENCE and EFFORTs (DESPITE SO SMALLLLLL an effort) widely KNOWN (through newspaper report, conference etc).

Old trick can generate new hope (Oh my...I am getting more sarcastic d, am I? )

I have learnt enough.

Good thing is that everyone can see our enthusiasm. And it's the people's good comments, motivations and wise words that keep my faith unwavered. We shall  prevail in the long run. It's just a matter of time, I know =)
