Years ago, I thought of using pressure concept to cut trees, hmmmm...I wonder have anyone invented pressure cutter? I am lazy to Google right now. Maybe next time.
One day, when I passed by a dirty and smelly river in my hometown, I was thinking if I could throw something which look like a ball into the river to purify the river, that would make the world a better place to live in. And so, I didn't do anything to translate my imagination into creation. Today, people from Japan have invented this sort of organic Eco Ball to curb oil spill in ocean.
Years ago, when visiting a food/Thailand cuisine website, I saw an array of delicious food images displayed on the screen, I so wanting to touch it, but I knew it's quite unlikely, haha. Well, then I though a while, hmmm, why not smell of the food is made possible in Internet? We know that we are able to detect smell because of the stimulation which is then transmitted in the form of nerve impulses to the brain for processing. If the smell of the food is able to deliver in electrical impulses, is it possible to encode the smell in real world, or at least resemble the smell of certain foods, then transmit via fibre optic? In the realm of imagination, yes I have accomplished that, however, these days, some technologists happened to share the same view of mine and have somehow come up with 4D Cinema, where you can smell, see, touch and hear while watching the movie. Awesome man! Faster open such one in Malaysia haha! But it gonna burn some hard cash : X
Albert Einstein's well celebrated quote may be true, but rather half truth to me, I would add that imagination coupled with the courage, knowledge and enough time will only sufficient in making things possible.
Still, Albert Einstein, that noble being, remained noble in my heart.
How much do I love that noble man
More than I could tell with words
I fear though he'll remain alone
With a holy halo of his own.
More than I could tell with words
I fear though he'll remain alone
With a holy halo of his own.
Poem by Einstein on Spinoza (1920)

Imagination is more important than knowledge, but to make your imagination into reality, you still need knowledge =)
