Recently reading Operation Management: Strategy & Analysis

I always picture myself reading some business or economy related books, and finally I live up to the mental picture.

My mum borrowed a book from my uncle. But she didn't read for so long, As usual, I will randomly pick a book and start reading before sleeping. One night, I picked this book, Operation Management: Strategy & Analysis.

The book offers great insight towards the real Operation in an industrial world.

As I read it more deliberately, I started to realize the operation in a real world is no doubt similar to that of my department in AIESEC do, Outgoing Exchange.

In OGX, processes are important element. The efficiency of each process is the key indicator of our performance.

The one-year experience that I have in AIESEC has granted me the privilege to REFINE OGX processes.

For that reason, I must know a lot of knowledge like Human Resource, ways to interview, how to boost CV, marketing, team management, MBTI test (a kind of personality test), how to be an efficient salesperson, how to deliver good presentation, and other technical knowledge on using myaiesec.net the powerful tool =D

Three Main Stages

Raising ----> Matching ---> Realization

Processes
EPRD (Exchange Fair/Virtual platform) ---> Info Session ---> EPRB (Selection process) ---> Raising ends ----> Matching starts ----> while a person may or may not have been matched, he/she is required to attend...----> OPS (Outgoing Preparation Seminar) ---> Matched---> Exchange Participants go abroad ---> Exchange Participants return ---> Reintegration

And our Exchange Programmes are divided into Global Community Development Programmes & Global Internship Programmes.

I still have long way to learn, and at the same time, to teach and lead a team of 15 people. It's wonderful to see them so enthusiast about OGX =D

We gonna achieve something =D

Thank you for giving me a chance to lead.
