What are the Differences between a Businessman and an Entrepreneur

An entrepreneur is perceived as doing the impossible whereas a businessman is seen as doing something possible. (see next point)

An entrepreneur works on something of original idea, or at least could freshes up an unoriginal idea; a businessman can make a business out of an unoriginal business or product idea.

An entrepreneur is an inventor and the first creator of a product. He invests time, energy and money on his own idea. He doesn’t start a business from an unoriginal idea. That is why he starts on a startup while a businessman starts on a business.

An entrepreneur wants to change the world; a profit-oriented businessman wants profits whereas a people-oriented businessman wants customers' satisfaction.

An entrepreneur (a leader and a friend) finds peers whom he/she will never treat as machine; a businessman (a manager) hires worker and employees to help his business to grow.

An entrepreneur competes with himself; a businessman competes with other brands/companies (competitors).

An entrepreneur does not care about money; a businessman cares about money.

An entrepreneur could be a procrastinator; a businessman works his/her best to stick to a certain timeline.

An entrepreneur sees the world as a duty; a businessman sees the world as an opportunity. (I love this the most by far)

An entrepreneur creates values; a businessman generates revenue.
An entrepreneur takes crazy risks in quest of pursuing his or her passion; a businessman takes calculated risks.

Mathematically, an entrepreneur is a subset of businessman. Because every entreprenur is a businessman, whether they like it or not to be regarded this way, but not all businessmen are entrepreneurs.

Lastly, there is no good or bad being one of them, so, you do not have to choose between an entrepreneur and a businessman. In fact, you can be a hybrid that combines the characteristics of both too.
After reading several sources, I think I am 40% entrepreneur, 60% businessman.
