A Glimpse Over my Holiday

We were having 2 weeks of break after having our UPS II exam. I must say I really have enjoyed the holidays, but one thing I really had neglected—EXERCISE. Ate Bat Kut Teh for 4 times and no sports to balance up the calories, huhu, did I put on weight? But body weight is not my major concern, I just hope my stamina & endurance are still in a good shape.             My 1st day arrival to penang was my birthday as well. Luckily, I don’t need to celebrate in KMJ. Some friends and I went to Sakae Sushi (In Gurney) to have a dinner. They treated me for everything, and that really made me a bit paiseh, felt like owing someone. That’s why I bought a simple cheese cake turned up in Sun Ye’s birthday (held in Nando, also in Gurney). Thx to Guo Din, Amy & John Hsiung, and my a bunch of "old" pals who gave me present. Deeply appreciate those what they handed to me. I could still remembered the warmth of their palms. We left da place after eating, merrily. Later then, old pals & I went up to the top floor and unwind ourselves in the entertainment ground.
Wednesday, the day I went back to visit Alma mater-Chung Ling. Taking three pieces of cakes that were ready to give to teachers, I entered the office and greeted Miss Yeoh, who taught me BM 2 years ago (So fast 2 years le!). We smirked at each other. We then decided to go to the canteen to chat. We shared a lot of fond memories. At the same time, she shared with me a lot of philosophies & revealed to me some tactful approaches in dealing with all sorts of ‘sick’ people. I soaked them all up like a sponge. There’s one thing I can’t believe it’s true. The appalling fact that teachers politicizing in the school is common. All this while I perceived teachers as intellectuals who never get interested to struggle for ANYTHING that’s unrelated to excellent teaching performance. I am shocked, I am really shocked. But I believe Miss Yoeh’s able to override these problems with discrete. Simply because she’s wise. I din miss my opportunity to buy cheaper stationary in Co-op. It’s certainly the students’ shopping haven! I also met with my Form 1 form teacher-Mdm Lee Hui Chee. We have a brief chat too. She’s amazed that I could still remember her. How could I forget you wor, my dear teacher? Ha! I also visited my F6 teacher-Mdm Tan Lean Kee (I think I spelled wrongly) She’s still there, teaching MUET and english. But I din ask her whether she is still teaching English for Science & Technology (EST). I suppose not. Happy to see all da familiar faces in form 6. Wish they would excel in their STPM which going to held at the end of this year.
Though haven’t drive for months, my skill to drive crazily has even been improved. Ha! Managed to maintain crazy driving skill, and that really made my buddies in the car Pening #@&*. Jien Jien while laughing, expressed his "phobia" to any vehicles that have the car plate of PHY as that reminded him of the pening kepala drive + Against ONE WAY street drive. Gosh! That’s truly an exaggeration. Ha! On Sun Ye’s birthday, we went to watch Jackie Chan’s Spy in Neighbour. Jackie’s anachronistic spec made him funnier.  Regret that I watched too few movies-only 2. Another one is Legion. Disappointing lah that movie!
East or West, Home Food is the Best indeed. I am in love with my mum’s loh bak. Her loh bak is beyond comparison. For months I din eat tiok Penang food, the 2 weeks break really have fulfill my appetite for delicious yet inexpensive food. Looking forward to go back again in the coming CNY break.
It’s almost 4pm, I got to get ready for my maths kuliah. Busy busy busy again, haiz. But it’s this feeling that make me aware that I am still in the right path. Pn. Hanani’s right about it. Ay!
Adieu, Mr. Blog.
