If u have an idea, google it, see how great it's compared to the existing ones (if any). Then, u try to benchmark and did this and that, still eventually others would emulate your creation, your so-called "secret sauce". So, why is there a need to invest so much time and efforts to make an idea to stand out which would eventually turn into obsolete, indifferent thing?
Maybe it shudn't be made that much different after all? Maybe not.
